Fifteen years after the events of The Firm, Mitch McDeere is now a successful partner at another law firm. He is married with children, and he has finally put his past behind him. However, when a mentor asks him to represent a client in a high-stakes case, Mitch is drawn back into the world of crime and corruption.
The case involves a massive financial fraud, and Mitch must use all of his skills and experience to protect his client and bring the criminals to justice. He is also forced to confront his own past and the choices that he made.
